Pituophis catenifer sayi
Four and a half foot fat bull snake found under a door. There were allot of mice which would explain the amazing girth of this snake.
Tall grass prairie beside a river and in between a thicket of woods and an industrial building
Me and a friend had search extensively for a bull snake and I was lucky enough to come across a juvenile but I didn't have my camera so I just took some bad phone pictures after searching much much more we came across this big guy in a new location and after that I also found one DOR so now I know they are in my area

Awww dang that sucks to hear :(
That's great for all the snakes! This weekend I was in Kansas, and we stopped by a wildlife refuge and were walking around what used to a river, but was now just a puddle. There were turtles shells everywhere that had died then raccoons had eaten, I found a dead northern water snake and dead diamondback water snake. I did find an alive diamondback water snake, but he was pretty skinny and him having to hibernate any time now, he probably wasn't going to make it. It was all really sad :(
Oh yeah! He was a chunky snake, but looking in the area it is easy to see why finding rodents under every other board.
This is the fattest bull snake I have ever seen!
