Papilio machaon
The Old World Swallowtail (Papilio machaon) is a butterfly of the family Papilionidae. The butterfly is also known as the common yellow swallowtail or simply the swallowtail (a common name applied to all members of the family, but this species is the 'original', first to go by the name). May be Papilio machaon hippocrates as that is the species found in Japan, according to Wikipedia
Seen in Kijimadaira Yamabikonooka Park at 700m in the mountains behind Nakano, Japan.

Oh yes Shekai, you are right! Now I can see the line of blue. Well done! I'll change it... And thanks for the compliment!
Hi, big Sis, you have a lot of beautiful butterfly spottings. The 5th photo gives me a feeling that this is an Old World Swallowtail (Papilio machaon) .
