Description:

In the dark ground level of the rainforest plants have big leaves to catch as much sunlight as possible. This one has flexible stems to move the leaves toward the light. This is Anthurium species, it is a large genus of flowering plants from the arum family (Araceae).

Habitat:

Lacandon rainforest.
