Autosticha kyotensis
Kyoto Moth - Autosticha kyotensis.Grub-like larvae that bore in trees. brown, crusty like wings.
You may want to reconsider the ID on this cute little moth. Here is one of my spottings of a Carpenterworm Moth. They are quite large, even the little ones. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/644... ;-)http://bugguide.net/node/view/3603/bgpag...That being said, this may be a moth from Superfamily Gelechioidea. I am terrible and identifying them and many are quite difficult to ID from photos. Take a look, if you dare! ;-) http://bugguide.net/node/view/43909/bgpa...
Ha. Some funny plant for sure! corrected thanks
Heads up, you've got this marked as a plant..
