Salvator merianae
The giant teiú (Salvator merianae), or common teiú, is a specie of lizard that inhabits Brazil (except the Amazon rainforest) and northern Argentina and Uruguay. It inhabits from forests to cerrados and the northeastern caatinga. Such reptiles reach up to 2.0 meters, including the tail. This photo, at Centro Educacional Leonardo da Vinci.
