An orange caterpillar with large black projections make this insect look fearful and intimidating. Many danaids feed on toxic leaves such as oleander and asclepsia providing the benefit of inheriting the same toxicity against predators.
This single larva was found on a pot-planted desert rose. Adenium obesum
