Winter Raspberries

Rubus sp.

Description:

Juicy winter raspberries growing on a fence. The thorns are ferocious. The flowers are enormous and seem to be way over-sized for the fruit it produces. The flowers are close to 5 cm in diameter. Naturally, I ate all the berries I could reach :)

Habitat:

Semi-urban area on the outskirts of San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
