Description:

Brown Nymphalid butterfly with wide yellow bands on the front wings. A bit tattered for wear. Drinking water on leaves floating in the river. It has a distribution from southern Mexico to Panama.

Habitat:

Tropical forest, dry season, Chorreadero Park, 10 km above Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas, Mexico.
