Yes it does. Can't to find mentions of it on the site showing Mt Diablo wildflowers.
This too was spotted in the foothills. Looks like an ornamental flower more than wild flower.
So where was this taken because Travis is right it's a type of Penstemon.
it's a type of Beardtongue (Penstemon sp.).
Is this still Mt Diablo or somewhere different?
