Yes, at the beginning I thought that was a lady beetle or a leaf beetle, but definitely is a tortoise beetle :) thank you so much for the help @ForestDragon
This is a beautiful beetle indeed! I believe it is actually a Tortoise Beetle (Tribe Cassidini ) and not a Lady Beetle. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the species found in your area. Hopefully, this can give you somewhere to begin searching!
