Pericrocotus sp., female (!) and I think it might be Pericrocotus flammeus looking at the range of Kerala. The other almost or identical Pericrocotus speciosus has probably a more northern range. But it definitely needs an Indian bird expert to take a look at it!! I am really not sure about the species!

The taxonomy is sometimes conflicting, one was formerly considered as a subspecies from the other, but I do not remember which one...
