Description:

Common flower. Yellow center with white petals. Tall, thin stem with shorter leaves.

Habitat:

Niagara Falls State Park, New York. Riverside near the Falls.

Notes:

Invasive, introduced plant. Has some traditional medicinal uses. Young leaves and chutes are said to be edible but quite bitter.
