Yellow-legged Gull; Gaviota Patiamarilla

Larus michahellis

Description:

Adults in summer plumage, they have worn away the white patches on the tips of the folded wings. Some of them have legs which appear pinkish but I think they have just turned duller and are reflecting the ground colour. Several Grey Herons can be seen in the first picture.

Habitat:

Coastal marshes (drying out due to lack of rain).
