Sawfly Larva

Description:

Small black larva. No hair. Tiny white dots. Most likely a Sawfly larva from Symphyta but I am not sure much more than that.

Habitat:

Suburban yard.

Notes:

I found another small black larva that looked very similar to this one on the same day. However, upon closer inspection, I found slight differences between this one and the other one so decided to post them separately.
