There are two excellent reference books by Dennis Paulson: Dragonflies and Damselflies of the East; and Dragonflies and Damselflies of the West. I own the eastern guide that covers the U.S. and Canada "east of the western boundaries of Ontario, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana." I'm guessing you see some eastern and western species at your location in Manitoba, right? And BTW, how do you endure the bitterly cold winters in Canada, Micky? ;-)

Thanks!
I suggest you add this spotting to the "Global Dragonflies & Damselflies" mission: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/6524...
