Since you are in range for both northern and southern, and they are really hard to tell apart with just photos, you should probably call this a cricket frog, Acris sp. I'm leaning more towards northern, if you look at the stripes on the thigh, northern has straight edges and southern has jagged edges, but the stripes on your frog are pretty faded so it's hard to see, but they look straight-edged to me. Very similar looking species though!
This looks like one of the Cricket Frogs, genus Acris. They are similar in appearance with some minor differences (webbing on the back toes and the pointedness of the nose, I think), and the calls are slightly different.
