Marchantia polymorpha
Spotted in my back yard, it was the first time I saw smthng like this! I'm amazed :)
So cool! That looks like the archegoniophore structure of a species we have local to Seattle: Marchantia polymorpha.
Dear @TamiLohf-Gottwalt, I had a serendipitous moment when I spotted them :)
interesting.unusual.
and pretty unusual :)
Interesting!
It's 6 months we're in this house, and I knew the plant, but I was thrilled to discover those tiny green umbrellas blooming all over the place :)
