Japanese name: Ohchabane-seseri. "Oh" or "o-o" means large. "Chabane" means brown wings. This species occurs in eastern Asia. Common and can be seen in summer.

Habitat:

Seen in Kijimadaira Yamabikonooka Park at 700m in the mountains behind Nakano, Japan.
