Purple-Striped Jelly

Chrysaora colorata

Description:

This shore-stranded jellyfish has a fish inside it! Which is odd, because I believe they typically eat smaller things such as plankton and larval fish. A strange sight to me, for sure.

Habitat:

Coastal - sandy beach
