Semicircle angelfish

Pomacanthus semicirculatus

Description:

This is a funny spotting for me: it looks like the semicircle fish says something to the regal in the ear and seconds later the regal parts ways with astonishment face of the semicircle :-) ........................................................................ Now, more seriously: the semicircle angelfish can be up to 35 cm (14 in.). Is greenish brown with blue spotting and pale yellowish lips. It has blue margins in the cheeks, spines and gill covers. Narrow blue margins on rear dorsal, anal and tail fins.

Habitat:

Solitary. Sheltered inshore reefs to 40 m. Indo West Pacific.
