Hibiscus cannabinus
Tall, robust Hibiscus, to 2.3m (7ft ) with prominent glandular surface to stems and buds
growing in the relatively fertile paddocks and beside the buildings in an old abandoned piggery which experiences wet hot summers and dry mild winters
This location is in the Gaborone North suburb of Gaborone, south-east Botswana These plants were just weeds but it appears from the literature that they are a nutritious edible plant and can also be a source of fiber for cordage and paper pulp

Neat! We have one here in FL that looks like marijuana as well, Hibiscus coccineus.
