Photo take at a Marina thisbird is very common in this area. Usually are the local ones that live here all year long. It is one of only 3 pelican species found in the Western Hemisphere. The Brown Pelican is only one of the two pelican species which feeds by diving into the water.The Brown Pelican the smallest of the eight species of pelican, although it is a large bird in nearly every other regard. It is 106–137 cm in length, weighs from 2.75 to 5.5 kg and has a wingspan from 1.83 to 2.5 m. Through most of its range, the brown pelican is an unmistakable bird.Wikipedia

Habitat:

Brown Pelican can be find on both coasts in the America in the eats coast from Nova Scotia to Venezuela and on the west coast from British Columbia to Chile including the Galapagos Islands.
