Leaf-footed bug

Coreidae

Description:

This is a bug I found last July on a five gallon paint bucket.

Habitat:

Shady backyard with lots of trees and undergrowth near the fences. Behind was a kind of alley with tall, thick grasses (5-6 feet kind of tall in places) and bushes with lots of moist soil and moss.

Notes:

Identified by Felix Fleck. Pictures taken with iPhone 5.

It's not an Assassin Bug (Reduviidae), it's a Leaf-footed Bug (Coreidae).
