Chinese Mystery Snail Shell

Description:

The second of two large snail shells found in a wet marshy area that had mostly dried during a drought (see the first at spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/165...). The Chinese Mystery Snail is an invasive species native to Burma, Thailand, South Vietnam, China, Korea, Japan, the Philippines, and Java. It has been introduced into 27 states.
