Description:

Silvery to iridescent blue to green with dense spotting on upper two-thirds of the body. Blue to bluish fins. Solitary or form schools. To 100 cm (3 1/4 in.).

Habitat:

Inhabit a variety of reefs habitats, but most common on outer reefs to 190 m. Can be locally abundant. Indo Pacific.
