Large, dark, reddish brown beetle with fairly smooth elytra. One ridge at the center line. Red legs. Underside lighter reddish-brown with yellow hairs between the second and third pair of legs.
Suburban parking lot near a field and vegetation. Probably attracted to lights the night before.
