Very light to very dark green moss patch. Each 'blade' about 3mm high with some larger sprouting occurring up to 6mm. On a whole the moss grows on anything that stands still long enough.
North facing ditch with many varieties of fallen logs and leaf litter.
During periods of dry weather it turns a lighter yellow shade but as soon as the wet or cold/damp periods start it turns a very deep lush green. Personally I love this patch because of the bottle seen in a couple photos where the dirt and mud have covered it except for the lid and the moss has nearly engulfed the entire thing.
