After a few days of rain in LA, I spotted these at the base of a shrub in the moist soil !

Hey Reza, it's definately a Split-gill fungus, Schizophillum commune! If you look closely, you'll notice the thick-looking gills, which are actually split in two at the edge. Great shots:)

Hey MiesMeister, since they were very close to the ground it was very hard to get an undershot, I have cropped and added the best gill shot I have hoe it helps !

Hi! Do you have a picture of the gills? Because I think it is the Split-gill fungus, Schizophillum commune.
