Red kites are 60 to 70 cm long with a 175–179 cm wingspan; males weigh 800–1,200 g, females 1,000–1,300 g

Habitat:

Spotted agricultural landscape with copses, open land structured forest edge

Notes:

distribution: Central, Western and South Western Europe. The distribution area of this kind is located in Germany. In Germany are 50 percent of breeding pairs. Worldwide are about 29,000 breeding pairs.
