Appears to be a black lady bug.
Found in garden, Australia.
I have never seen nor known there were black lady bugs. Is this really a strain?
Hi ebonyandjoker and welcome to Project Noah. You might need a better shot of this one to hope for an ID. There certainly are black and many other types of ladybirds but this might also be another type of beetle like a 'leaf beetle'. Here's a gallery of some ladybirds from the CSIRO you could browse through http://www.ento.csiro.au/biology/ladybir... and here's some of the eucalyptus leaf beetles around the country https://www.google.com.au/search?q=%22eu...
There are even a few other types of beetle possibilities besides Chrysomelidae and Coccinellidae Have fun !!
