Gymnothorax zonipectis
Is a tan moray with 2-4 longitudinal rows of brown blotches on body and bars on fins. Pale bands and blotches on jaws, dark band at rear edge of eye. It can reach 80 cm (2 3/4 ft.).
Solitary. Inhabit reef crevices, mainly of outer slopes in 4-40 m. Indo-Pacific.
