I had noticed it on just one occasion previously but just did a quick search on some of my Skimmers and I see lots of them doing it, including some I saw in Malaysia. Interesting.
Nice picture of an Epaulet, Malcolm. Did you notice this habit the skimmers have of sitting on just four legs with their front legs held up behind the eyes? Intriguing.
