Good job, Jellis. Hypoleria was also my candidate at first sight. To my knowledge there are no reports for Hypoleria lavinia chrysodonia from Ecuador. The orange band at the margin of the forewing looks to be more extended in yours than in Karen's. In addition white spots are not seen in Lavinia. My suggestion would be Hypoleria sarepta cidonia. But I must agree these clearwings are a real nightmare to ID...
