Description:

This particular gall was about the size of a large bunch of grapes....and pretty heavy.

Habitat:

Found in a cottonwood in an artificial riparian area surrounded by Sonoran Desert mesquite and cactus scrubland, vacant lots, and industrial parks.

Notes:

Eriophyid mites are gall-makers.
