You can apart the bittersweets by the positions of the fruit clusters. Here's <a href="http://www.mda.state.mn.us/plants/badplants/orientalbittersweet/bittersweetdiffs.aspx">an illustration</a>. In this case there are fruits all along the stems rather than in terminal clusters. At least, that's how I interpret it.
