A Saltbush

Description:

Has 6 distinct spines on each seed capsule, 2 are shorter. There may be more spines but they are less well developed. This area hasn't been grazed as it is part of a Nature Reserve.

Habitat:

Triodia sp. Arid Grassland. It was growing on the top of a sand dune near the border between NT and QLD.

Notes:

I am guessing some species of Chenopodiaceae maybe a Sclerolaena sp.
