Description:

STRICTLY PROTECTED SPECIES. Vegetate the soil rich in humus and organic fertilizers. It grows in deciduous forests and at their edge, in the bushes. Inedible mushrooms.

Notes:

STRICTLY PROTECTED SPECIES. The fungus was taken at the exhibition mushroom Mycological Association of Serbia in Belgrade.

Cool spotting; a fungus that looks like a little person! Welcome to Project Noah!

It is a rare species and specimens that may be found in private collections end. Its price from a few hundred euros. Specimens found to be owned scientific institutions, for taking DNA code. A copy of the image is the property of the State Laboratory of Serbia, and is displayed in exhibitions Mycological Association of Serbia.
In Serbia, recorded only two findings

I just read in Wikipedia that this species is inedible. Do you happen to know why it has reached to the point that it has to be strictly protected?
