Puss moth caterpillar (3rd instar)

Cerura sp.

Description:

This is (I think) the 3rd instar of this caterpillar. The other instars are here: 1st instar: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/164... 2nd instar: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/170... 4th instar, early: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/169... 4th instar, late: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/169... Most of these caterpillars were at the same plant at the same time. I used info I found on the internet for assembling a time line for their life cycle, so there is a possibility that I made a mistake. I'd really enjoy some additional info or even some correction from a user.
