Description:

I found these specimens to bathing near a waterfall. It's a bird young and a adult.

Habitat:

I found this specimens on a region of transition between the Cerrado and Atlantic Florest.

Notes:

Its population has not been quantified but is described as a common bird; occurs in a large area and the trend of the global population is to remain stable. Thus, the IUCN classifies as Least Concern in condition. However, in Colombia has been extinguished, and Peruvian populations are small, consisting of occasional visitors who do not nest on site.
