Spotting

Description:

Could be signs of a beaver? Many roots were gnawed in the area, the third picture was a shallow hole dug and roots inside chewed down. The fourth photo is some hair found in the hole, though could be from other animal that used it for shelter. The fifth is a track found nearby, that to me, is consistent with the front paw of a beaver.

Habitat:

Riparian
