Spider Squat Lobster

Chirostylus sandyi

Description:

Deep-sea squat sea lobster (Chirostylidae). To 7.5 cm (3 in.). Tiny carapace with spider-like legs. Brick red with yellow lines on carapace and white spots on upper surface of first segment of legs.

Habitat:

West Pacific, in Indonesia and Philippines.
