Tagiades parra parra

Description:

Endemic to the Philippines, the T. parra parra is a species of spread-winged skipper butterflies in the genus Tagiades. It is dark brown in color with six light spots on its fore wings, the three smaller than the rest. It is often found at rest underside broad leaf plants.

Habitat:

Urban garden.

Notes:

The species name is from Latin parra, a supernatural bird (usually an owl or a crow) bringing ill omen. - Wikipedia
