Wow, that is a creepy-looking spider. I have no idea what it is though - I've had a good look through arachne.org.au but I can't see anything that looks like it.

Well it wasnt far into QLD to be fair, close to the border with the NT (just north of Birdsville). would be great if it was a range extension.
