Description:

Medium- to large-sized slant-faced species. Slender build, long antennae and hind legs. Boldly striped with dark brown and white with grayish ground color. Note orange hind tibiae ("shins") and flush of orange on abdomen.

Habitat:

Spotted by my wife on an exposed, rocky slope with pine and other conifers, plus kinnikinnik as ground cover.

Notes:

Location on map is approximate, but within Pueblo Mountain Park, Beulah, Colorado. Specimen is a male. Females are larger.
