Pluvialis apricaria
I was walking down to the beach when two birds flew up from almost under my feet. I fired off two shots, the first two in the sequence in the hope that I might be able to ID them later. They disappeared down into one of the nearby lagoons which I had just left so I went back to look for them and saw them resting about 50 metres away, pics 3 & 4. I then moved a little closer - the last two pictures are cropped from the same photograph.
