Brown Creeper

Certhia americana

Description:

Small brown birds similar to nuthatch as they creep up trees. Streaky back and light color underparts. Has a long curved thin bill. Most times they fly into a tree and quickly go to the bottom and creep up in a spiral motion up the tree searching for insects. Hard to spot

Habitat:

Mostly found in evergreen forests.

Notes:

Spotted this as I stood at an open pine tree and watched for activity for any birds. Saw it work it's way up the tree going around it as it goes up.
