Granular Sea Star

Choriaster granulatus

Description:

A sea star (Oreasteridae) to 25 cm (10 in.). Short thick arms. Clusters of small papillae on body and upper portion of arms form botched pattern. Tan to brown and orange with lighter or darker colored arm tips.

Habitat:

Indo West Pacific from Indonesia to Fiji
