Polypore/Pycnoporus

Pycnoporus sanguineus

Description:

This little mushroom, appears to have a growth in ripples. Since all the parts were bonded together. -The species are most easily distinguished by where it grows.-

Habitat:

These specimen was found in a grove that has a huge amount of organic matter deposited on the ground (Litter). He was in dry twigs in the ground.

Notes:

This mushroom is very "hard" and, when touched, releases many spores in the what rang him.

Just noticed your in Brazil, I though you were in spain for some reason. Sorry.

That means this is Pycnoporus sanguineus..

In fact here is a hot climate region. But the weather is kind of cold. That must be it ... Thank's!

Its a Pycnoporus sp. The species are most easily distinguished by where it grows. I don't know the climate of your area, but i would imagine you have Pycnoporus cinnabarinus - the cool/temperate North American/European species.
