Hens and Chicks

Sempervivum tectorum

Description:

Native to Southern Europe and Africa, don't ask how it manages to thrive through Canadian winters, but they seem to love it.

Habitat:

Even though they don't seem to care, I have them in a lovely rock garden at my place that soaks up the summers heat.

Notes:

Sempervivum tectorum vary colours, with each cultivar.

Thank you for the suggestion Ava T-B , but Aeonium are plants that will not withstand frost and extreme temperatures. This one grows in Canada and is currently under a meter of snow.

I think you've put up pictures of three different plants (2 at least), so they should be seperated into different spottings. The first one is the Black Aeonium.
