Spotting

Description:

Lime-green colored caterpillar with head color similar to body. Green-ish-yellow stripe down dorsal surface and near feet that run the length of the caterpillar. Likely a moth caterpillar.

Habitat:

Deciduous forest in the midlands of south carolina containing oak, hickory, cherry, hackberry, sweet gum, etc.

Notes:

Crawling at night around a water bowl.
